This section will show you how to connect your pad to your device with and without the Playground app, how to map games, and how to update firmware
(updating firmware is a must for devices using Android 4.2). Updating firmware should also fix non working triggers on the regular PlayPad.

Connecting pad without the Playground App
1. Turn your device's bluetooth on
2. Hold home button until HID light switches on
3. Select Nyko Playpad to pair

2. Make sure Bluetooth is off, then start app
3. Tap "OK"
4. Tap "skip"
5. Tap "advanced mode" in the top right corner
6. Tap "proceed"
7. Hold home button on pad until HID light switches on
(make sure HID mode is on)
8. Tap "OK"
Now you are ready to map games!
1. Tap "select games"
2. Select the game you want to map
3. Tap "new profile"
4. Select "empty profile" or gamepad profile"
5. Map keys to whatever button, save and name profile
6. Tap launch and you are ready to play!
Updating Firmware through the Playground App
follow steps 1-8 of "Connecting pad to Playground App", then follow steps below:
1. Select any game in "available games" (top left), tap game in "profiles" (top right)
2. Tap options in top right corner
3. Tap "upgrade firmware"
